Design and Quality Review
Screen: The display is a large 3.2 inches, making it a real rival to the iPhone. However, its resolution is not quite up to scratch and is one area in which Samsung could have done better. The screen is bright and good quality, but a little harder to use in bright daylight than other similar brands.
Usability: As always in any touch screen phone, the interface itself is extremely important. The icons themselves are large and stop users from accidently pressing the wrong buttons. Indeed the phone is extremely user friendly and extremely functional. Not only this, but the phone allows a selection of widgets displaying useful information on the main screen. There are many widgets to choose from, and even more can be downloaded. These prove extremely useful and makes it a lot easier to get around all the features the Samsung Omnia has to offer. However, the on-screen keyboard is slightly more compact, leaving less accuracy when typing using the phone.
Users will find the navigation easy to use, implementing factors such as flick gestures as well as an optical d-pad which can be used as traditional four-way navigation or as a mouse style pointer. This function may not be necessary to the device, but it may provide extremely useful for some users.
Quality/ Style: The Omnia not only has great specifications but its design really makes this a quality and stylish product. The design is uncomplicated using a minimal amount of buttons and leaving the rest up to touch navigation, this works and produces a sleek design. The design is one of its most attractive features, putting the Samsung Omnia well ahead of other Windows Mobile phone brands.
Camera Review
The Samsung Omnia is one of the first Windows Mobile phones to provide such a high quality camera, at 5 mega pixels. The features are standard of any decent camera phone, but they are extremely easy to use and integrated well. The GPS functions of the phone will allow users to tag their photographs with location data, which is becoming a regular feature seen on top camera phone devices.
In all the Samsung Omnia’s camera is one of the highlights of the many functions of this device. The quality means that users can choose to print high quality printouts, or take detailed shots. Settings may need to be played around with a little to perfect the images, but in general outdoor images are beautiful.
The camera also allows users to record videos in the MPEG4 format which is a plus. The sound on the videos is extremely good, and in general it is a great camera for any Windows Mobile device. There are not many brands that will outdo the Omnia in terms of its photography and video recording standards.
Multimedia Functions
The Multimedia functions are just as important as any other on a phone make that claims to provide everything. Viewing photographs is made easy by using the inbuilt software, and it also provides a separate media player to view videos or listen to music. When listening to music the sound is good quality, and the large storage space that comes included with the package allows users to store literally thousands of songs. The 3.5mm headphone socket is also a real plus for those who do not wish to use the provided headphones. Users will also benefit from an FM radio, and the completely revolutionary addition of DivX/XviD file support.
Connectivity and Other Features
Something that may bother many users is the fact that the Samsung Omnia does not support high-speed internet in the USA. However, for users who do not need this feature, they will find it useful to connect to the internet via WiFi with great browsing facilities and the ability to upload photographs to the internet. On top of this standard business functions are included, such as a detailed organizer, task manager, calendar, and a file explorer. Office Mobile is a welcome edition allowing users to edit files from Word, Excel and so on as well as viewing PDFs. The GPS system uses Google Maps.
Conclusion
The Samsung Omnia has a lot to offer. Whilst the screen and design may not outdo the iPhone, it uses Windows Mobile to its advantage. This version of the operating system is not seen in a huge number f phone at the moment, and Samsung have customized it in order to make it attractive to a wide range of users. The software and camera functions are the most attractive features of the device, and it may well be a popular choice amongst mobile phone users looking for an all-in-one solution.

Samsung Omnia Review
The Samsung Omnia is the new model from Samsung providing a rival to the connectivity and interface of the iPhone. It is otherwise known as the i900 and promises to offer its users everything in one device. Amongst its specifications it boasts great camera and business functions.
The camera on the Samsung Omnia is one area where the phone really stands out amongst similar types. It is a large 5 mega pixels, which is great for a Windows Mobile operated phone, and provides good quality detailed images. Videos are recorded in the MPEG4 format which is a huge plus, and users will benefit from a number of photography functions to improve images they may take.
The design of the phone is as you should expect from any rival to the iPhone – high quality and stylish. It is compact, with a minimal design that still makes it easy for most users. The screen itself is large, but does not quite provide the same quality resolution as boasted by the iPhone. The touch screen interface is undoubtedly important with a phone of this type, and this works well. Navigation is extremely intuitive, icons are large and easy to press, though the keyboard is a little more compact and difficult to use. Above these features, the home menu allows for customization of icons and for top functions to be added in the form of widgets, which is extremely useful for most mobile phone users who want quick access to their favourite features.
On top of its design and camera features, the Samsung Omnia allows users to listen to FM radio as well as their own music library. The phone comes with either 8GB or 16GB of included memory, undoubtedly one of the most generous out there, which means that there will be no problem storing music files or high quality photographs. Photos are viewed in a special organizer, and videos and music are played using the Omnia’s inbuilt media player. These programs are generally very useful and easy to navigate.
The connectivity of any smartphone is important, and it is a plus that the Samsung Omnia provides WiFi connectivity. However, some users may be disappointed due to the fact that high speed internet access for the USA is unsupported, but if you are not travelling or will not need this feature when travelling then this will not be a problem. For business on the move, various tools are included. The Windows Mobile platform means that users can edit and view Office files in Word, Excel and so on as well as viewing PDFs.
In short, this device has its faults but it also has certain other features to help make up for these. The camera is one of the best seen on any Windows Mobile device, and the interface is well-designed and customizable. This phone undoubtedly provides many features in one very stylish place and will go some way to provide users with alternative options when it comes to choosing a smart phone.

Samsung Omnia Review
The new Samsung i900, or the Samsung Omnia, is the phone that literally promises users everything. It is here to attempt to rival the iPhone, with its own touch screen interface, business and multimedia tools. It is run on a Windows Mobile operating system which includes some pretty nifty features to attract a wide variety of users.
Windows Mobile means that there will be access to Pocket Office, which includes well-known programs such as Word, Excel and more. Users can edit and view files on the go which is an attractive feature to both business and personal users. On top of this detailed organizers, calendar and a task manager allow users to keep track of everything that needs to get done. WiFi internet access will provide email tools and a decent web browsing experience. However, some users who travel to the USA may be put off by the fact that the phone is not built to support high speed internet access there.
On top of its business functions the phone appeals to other users with its camera and multimedia software. The camera itself is an impressive 5 mega pixels, extremely large for any Windows Mobile device. It allows users to take crisp images in all conditions, though the settings may need to be adjusted for optimal quality. Video recording is usefully in MPEG4 format, and matches all other leading camera phones.
The phone comes in either 8GB or 16GB storage models which is an extremely generous amount compared to other leading makes. This means that users will be able to store thousands of high quality photographs or songs, and the inbuilt media player makes listening to music or viewing videos easy. The sound quality is very good, and a 3.5mm headphone jack will allow users to add their own headphones if they require. The addition of DivX/xViD file format support makes this a feature completely unique to the Omnia, even if there are still a few things to be completely tweaked such as a more smooth video playback.
One of the most important features of such a phone for most users will be the touch screen interface, and Samsung is mostly successful on this count. Users will easily be able to get around navigation, where there are big icons and useful widgets that allow ease of access to favourite functions. The on-screen keyboard is a little harder to get used to, being more compact. The screen is a decent size, but its quality does not surpass the iPhone. However, the design and quality in general is extremely good.
In short this phone offers many features and all in an attractive package. Its faults are more than made up for by its quality camera and file format support. On top of this GPS functions and good business tools will make this an attractive model for those looking to purchase a smartphone in the near future.

Samsung Omnia Video Reviews
I wanna thank Nextwindowmobile from Youtube for his video Review of samsung i900 omnia
Check out the Video review Below by press play button
Its got a very soft music to it, I quite liked it but if you don’t like it, just ignore it. Take a note of the Samsung Omnia Interface. Although Samsung Omnia runs Windows but the interface has been modified by Samsung, so it looks very different from usual windows interface making it much more user freindly and nice looking. Also check that it seems to run Safari mobile for Internet access, althoght it couldn’t connect to internet in the video, I guess WAP, GPRS or WiFi wasn’t enabled. The keypad looks quite similar to apple iPhone and seems optimized for use by fingers. I hope you liked the video.
If you have anything to contribute about Samsung Omnia, a review, pictures or video, just leave a message below, Thanks Guys

Samsung Omnia Mobile Phone Camera Review
Samsung Omnia is not only a phone but it has also got a massive camera of 5 megapixel with additional functions including AutoFocus, Flash and many other options that you usually find in a stand alone Digital camera. Samsung Omnia camera is very impressive and if you are moving about and not carrying your high quality Camera, its own camera is a very good alternative. camera interface is very nice and can be used with fingers very easily. Its speed is very good and not sliggish like other usual Phone cameras.

Samsung Omnia inbuilt Radio Review
yeah, thats right! samsung Omnia has got an inbuilt radio. Omnia offers a very simple to use inbuilt radio that enables you to store upto 6 frequencies and moreover… You can record what you are listening to, is it great or what?
Samsung Omnia Multimedia Review
Samsung Omnia mobile phone enables you to listen to Mp3, view images, create albums and play videos including Divx and MPEG4 Videos. Again the interface is very user friendly and quality very high. It has also got a Video editor that enables you to edit the videos that you record with camera. You can add subtitles etc with the editor.
Samsung Omnia GPS Review
Samsung Omnia has an inbuilt GPS reciever which enables it to work as a GPS device. It comes with preloaded Google Maps and you can get directions if you want to reach from point 1 to point 2, but it obviously requires internet connection to access Google Maps for that function. The risk is that if you lose connection in midway then you are lost. So might not want to risk and buy additional software from TomTom.
Overall Impression of Samsung Omnia
Samsung Omnia is not just a phone, but its much more than a phone. With various high quality functions you will be exloring it for months after you have bought it. If you are looking to buy a phone, I ll put it on the top of the list for atleast 2008. Check Out Samsung Omnia Best Buys here
